Ovation is a diverse group of passionate young professionals dedicated to strengthening the San Diego Symphony’s developing audience through a variety of entertaining and exciting activities and events.

 

Orchestras all over the world struggle to generate the interest of younger audience members, both for performances as well as for sponsorships. A younger audience is vitally important to the future of the San Diego Symphony, not only financially but culturally. That is why some ‘younger’ fans have decided to create Ovation, a Young Professionals Group, whose goal is to introduce the San Diego Symphony to a younger audience.  Ovation is dedicated and determined to not only increase the audience base through fun events surrounding Symphony performances, but to ensure financial support for the San Diego Symphony. Our strategy is to reach out to other Young Professional groups through networking and offer social and networking events in conjunction with Symphony Performances.

Members and guests will be exposed to the power and beauty of classical music and come to serve as cultural leaders and musical ambassadors for the San Diego Symphony.
